In the wake of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor’s murders by police brutality, Not A Riot is an affiliated project of MutualAidNYC that aims to address all the "whataboutisms" of the Black Lives Matter movement and history of social unrest in the U.S.
The series of carousels and interviews were created for social media campaigns to raise awareness on topics such as police brutality, confederate statues, bail funds, the health and housing crisis, allyship, and more.
